Graduating in the top 10% of his class, Dr. Yafai received his dental degree from UCLA in 2001 and went on to receive his medical degree from UC Davis. A rare specialist with both medical and dental experience, Dr. Yafai specializes in oral and maxillofacial surgery, gentle removal of wisdom teeth, dental implants and bone grafting. He is also certified to administer IV sedation. Following receipt of his MD, Dr. Yafai completed both a general surgery internship and his oral surgery residency at UC San Francisco. He believes in creating beautiful faces as well as beautiful smiles. Dr. Yafai enjoys computers, photography, racquetball, basketball, and weightlifting.
